A federal appeals court is reviewing jurisdictional matters regarding students Rumeysa Ozturk and Mohsen Mahdawi detained by immigration officials but has not yet issued any rulings, further infringing on their rights to due to process under the United States’ Constitution. Each student has been imprisoned illegally by the federal government for over a month.
